The Barbican Ball Lottery will feature a display of unmarked envelopes holding a voucher for a meal (lunch or dinner) for two/four people worth a minimum of £100 from a participating restaurant. Guests will pay £100 to participate in the lottery, with a guaranteed return of at least £100 – a win-win for all involved.
The vouchers should be valid for a minimum of six months and maximum of one year from 25 November 2016. We are hoping to get 100 restaurants to take part to raise £10,000 for the Barbican Charitable Trust’s work. Last year’s restaurants included: SUSHISAMBA, Le Gavroche, Angelus, The Ivy, Marcus and High Timber. Restaurants are welcome to donate more than one voucher!
All restaurants participating in the Barbican Ball Restaurant Lottery will have their contribution recognised in the Barbican Ball programme which will be available in print and digitally at the event.The programme will be posted on the Barbican Ball website which is linked to the main Barbican website (3.4 million unique users last year); the programme will also be promoted through social media (602k Twitter followers, 196k Facebook Friends). ).
